Cambridge in Bloom | Weekend Adventures

About a month, I headed on a very long train trip, from Plymouth all the way up to Cambridge for the weekend, to celebrate a lovely family friend’s 60th birthday. It was a pretty last minute decision, and it took forever to get there, but was so worth it to spend a weekend with friends and family in the most beautiful city, full of springtime blooms.

I seem visit Cambridge about once a year, whether visiting friends or just craving a day trip (though that was back when I lived in London). Every time, I fall more in love with the beautiful streets, colleges and the cycling culture. This pictures were taken on a beautiful sunny Sunday morning, when my mama and I took a wander through the streets, before the city woke up. The light was so beautiful and I loved all the flowers and blossoms we saw.
